TOMAS AND PAULO
TOPIC: The Ecology of the Evolving Supreme

DOLORES: Good afternoon. Dolores here. Let me lift you in prayer prior to
Tomas coming in at the onset.

In faith of your presence, dear Michael, and in faith of the presence of the
heavenly helpers in the invisible spheres who lead us into your great
Reality, lift our hearts and souls in celebration of knowing you and in
knowing your love for us, your many creations. Rejoice with us in the
eternal adventure of finding Our Father ~ in our lives ~ as we exist and as
we seek for Him in others and as we aspire to become like Him and,
eventually, in His presence, to worhip Him.

Give us patience, Michael, in our dealings with one another as we come to
know how to relate to the God who inspires us all. Teach us to meaningfully
relate and interact with everyone we encounter in light of your admonition to
love one another as you love us. Help us to discern how to love one another
as you love us, as this, in the example you gave, is the key to learning the
path into righteousness and glory for us all.

If it please you, Creator, we yearn to do your bidding. We yearn to follow
you into the fields and into the universities of your choosing for us so that
we will be better prepared to follow your bidding in all things. We commend
to you our very beings - all that we are, all that we have been, and all that
we are becoming - in order for you to mold us and help us discern Our
Father's will for us. In His divine light we abide. Amen.

TOMAS: Good afternoon, my loyal friends, and companions. We embark now, we
engage upon, the new phase, the new decade, the new plateau of distributing
loving kindness and care into the fields as nourisment for those who hunger
and thirst for greater truth, beauty and goodness.

This consecration of your will to do the divine will is the Agenda of all of
us, and yet each of us assumes our own individual Assignment as far as our
expression of our commitment to doing the Father's will. In the expansion of
spiritual reality in your lives so that it will take on greater value for
you, you will begin to discern, through Stillness, the personality pattern
established in you that will conform to your destiny path. Insofar as you
are a fledgling soul, you will experiment in your understanding of what is
meant by His will for you in your life and how you reflect His will.

Experimentation is part of the experiential existence. It's a natural
growing program. What you will do is you will ascertain an approach and
follow that approach until and as such time as you are invited and directed
in other ways, all the while amassing for yourself value and meaning that
becomes a part of who you are. While you experience many variations of
creature choice, your essential Agenda is to be perfect in your sphere as the
Father is perfect in His sphere. And thus, as you master your standing as
you are, it is then apparent how to advance even farther into the ideal of
spiritual development as you begin to see it unfold before you.

The essential question therefore is always to recognize your primary Agenda.
I'd like to open this up somewhat for you today and include you in my session
by asking for certain specificities as to other agendas of our past masters
in teaching this lesson on living God's will. For instance, have you got a
response to the question of "what was Machiventa Melchizedek's agenda in
coming here to Urantia?"

THOROAH: I was thinking that his agenda was to teach the One God, of all the
achievements, the idea of One God.

TOMAS: Precisely, Thoroah, and this agenda of his at that time had
everything to do with his purpose on Urantia. What would you say his Agenda
is today?

GERDEAN: Overseeing the reclamation of Urantia.

TOMAS: Overseeing the reclamation of Urantia. Fine. And what would you
venture to say was the Agenda of Jesus?

THOROAH: To let us know that this God loves us.
TOMAS: A loving God, yes. But what was Michael's Agenda?
THOROAH: To complete the seventh bestowal.

TOMAS: And gain sovereignty over his universe, yes. So you see we have
different agendas but we have the same overall Agenda - to do the will of the
Father at any particular given place in time. Each life is given its own
Agenda, and while in the course of the life there will be many secondary and
tertiary agendas in the mix, always is the essential Agenda to "Be ye
perfect". That is a rather wide-open mandate, wouldn't you agree?

THOROAH: Yes.

TOMAS: Within any situation/ paradigm, and from differing vantage points,
depending on the paradigm, there are what we might call modifications for
carrying out your agenda. An example could be being perfect in a certain
task set before you. You must learn how to navigate the area or utilize the
tools therein. Thus the primary Agenda appears to be superceded by lesser
agendas.

If a woman is sewing a garment as a costume in a local theater presentation
depicting the value of neighbors and the value of interacting in ministry,
one might construe her as merely a seamstress with a limited agenda, one
which is, in their eyes, less important than theirs, which may be a man who
is washing the car in order to drive the family to an engagement which will
represent him as a champion of a certain cause which bespeaks the nobility of
character that is held up as exemplary of a denizen doing deeds on behalf of
the community as a way of indicating the level of civilization that is
created in citizens such as this, thus also depicting the high agenda of
character.

Each agenda is a path in support of the exalted Agenda of the sons and
daughters of God in their mortal raiment. It is when the parties exalt their
agendas as having the sanction of God over and above the others' agenda that
humans encounter conflict.

When you set out to be of service and to express yourself as personalities in
support of the values shared by all of divinity, you assume the mantle of one
who has a righteous cause. But without taking the moment to perceive how the
individual is going about bringing their impression/interpretation of this
righteous cause into being, you can only see the immediate act and it may
have little bearing on what the greater picture portrays.

Deep thinking is called for here. It's an example of not being able to see
the forest for the trees sometimes. You look around and you see trees, you
see your fellows engaged in various activities, you see aspen, pine and maple
all intermingled. You see that some are tall and some are short. You see
that the tall ones are often crowding out the sun from shining on the
undergrowth. The tall trees thus making it impossible for the saplings to
reach their potential.

Back up now and look at the forest and see the lilies of the field how they
grow. There are certain factors of growth involved in the forest of
humanity, in the forest of kingdom-workers. The circumstances of the forest
tell how the elevation, the temperature, the rainfall, the soil, all
contribute to the configuration of the forest in that time and place.

The forest during Machiventa's sojourn here indicated a need for a concept of
One God to be implanted in order for our Creator Son, when he arrived, to be
able to impress upon his followers how it is that Our Father is a loving God.
Which he could not have done if it remained true, in the minds of humanity,
that the many gods of Machiventa's day and age were still flourishing.

So look at forest in which you are growing. The whole planet is not one
large wood. There are plains and barren spaces. There are large areas where
nothing grows. There are populated areas that teem with life but have no
surcease from the hustle and bustle of the concrete jungle and cannot
consider ecological factors such as we are discussing. In some areas
survival is the primary agenda. They have not yet found the refreshment from
the protection of these mighty forests of spiritual community which prevail
and in which one may find sanctuary.

As geologic and climatic changes occur, as time passes, as evolution occurs,
all the tall trees will be brought down as a natural course, and the trees
growing as saplings are then allowed to respond to the stimuli of growing
conditions prevalent. And when they have maximized their purpose, they too
will be felled in order to provide a soil of nourishment suitable for the
life yet to come.

The ecology of the Evolving Supreme is such that you listen to your heartfelt
response to the still, quiet voice within. If it leads you to grow where you
are planted, then grow you must in the soil you found your roots. In the
greater ecology, your growth will be overseen by the nature of the greatness
of divinity.

If, in your forest habitat, it is impossible for you to find the conditions
necessary for you to be all that you can be, perhaps you need to re-evaluate
where you have found yourself emplanted, and seek guidance and direction as
to how and where you may find yourself unobstructed in your ascent to the sun
[sic]. It is possible for you to live the Father's will in your life no
matter where you are, and no matter what you do, and yet in order to maximize
your potential, for you to realize the agenda that has been written in your
heart, it may require some uprooting and transplanting and reconfiguring your
environment so that your branches may stretch forth and your fruits produced.

So many are content to remain stunted and say, "I can do nothing about it,
for this is where I have been planted. These are the limitations I cannot
surmount." And if this is your decision, to abide by the constraints of your
material existence, then so be it, and go about your affairs in good cheer.
If, however, you are overshadowed by those tall pines which will naturally
find their way to the top, refresh yourself in the relief they can provide
from the driving rain and incidious heat of the exposure they endure.

I speak to you symbolically because this is the language that you will need
to use in determining, in ascertaining an agenda. Be it your own agenda or
the apparent agenda of those who surround you. Remember, too, that there are
many kinds of trees. Some produce crabapples. Some provide a home for
birds. Some are used to build papermills and buildings. Some are for beauty
only, and some produce food. There is room for all, and each, in their own
time, in season, serve. They fulfill their agenda. How wonderful it is, the
variety allowed in this far-flung universe of mortal creatures that aspire to
find their natural habitat and flourish under the sun, in ways that are both
natural and supernatural.
