THOROAH: That's an interesting way to look at that.

AARON: It's a better investment. Like trying to make short-term hot fuses
something you have power over. Your conquest over those short scintillating
static bursts of energy in favor of the more persistent, consistent, enduring
energies of infinity.

THOROAH: Is one any better than the other?

AARON: Indeed.

THOROAH: The long-term perspective seems to be, obviously, a better thing for
us to have so I suppose that allows us to be more efficient in our use of
energy if we are more on a long-term basis. Consistent.

AARON: Alright, let's look at an example or two. Let's say the difference
between lighting a match and using a match to light a fire in the fireplace.
Or giving a man a fish versus teaching him how to fish. It's not to say that
the first has NO value, but it has relatively little value compared to what
potential is available.

THOROAH: As long as you've got the long term, you can also have enough energy
for those short-term things that will come up.

AARON: Those short-term spurts of lesser energy are spurts that you can use
to fuel your long-term conquest, if you have mastery over how you deal with
energy influences.

THOROAH: I hope I didn't distract you from the point that you were trying to
make.

AARON: I think we made the point.

GERDEAN: If we expect to be able to alter energy patterns in any way, it
would be necessary for us to be aware of them in such a way that we were able
to be matter of fact about things. We would have to be overt, or obvious,
and not in denial or not subtle or not politically correct even. Forthright.

AARON: In the ideal. Although you can't always depend upon cooperation. And
so in the alternative of teamwork, you will need to learn how to effect
positive growth on your own, in collusion with spirit energy, even when
alone, and you get back to being an agondonter again here and appreciating
that even in socialization and even in faith of celestial helpers, you still
have to - through your will - perceive what it is you are attempting and act
on that according to your own light of truth.

Indeed, juries are examples of this kind of thing, because you need to have
your independent thought pattern, even though the rest of the group may
disagree with your decision. If it's your bottom line reality then you need
to stand by it, even if it means a hung jury or a stalemate, because progress
is at issue here. Growth. Life. Isn't your experience as a living entity a
thing of great value? Isn't the Creator of life worthy of worship? We're
not tinkering here with petty reality; we're not playing. We're talking
about what matters.

Well, sure, that's relative, but you can take that to the extreme, and I
discourage you from being ridiculous. But you can be ridiculous if you
choose to be, if you feel it's really necessary to truth, beauty and
goodness.

THOROAH: Well, I would think that sometimes taking the ridiculous to the
extreme is a caricaturized way to get a point across, if it's appropriate.

AARON: "If" indeed. You're right. Why not?

THOROAH: It can be done in an unfriendly way but it can also be done in a
nice positive way.

AARON: It's your motives here that account for the difference, although many
people are self-deceived. Many times that is the case, and there is no
service in retaining the illusion. If energy is draining out through that
hole, that dark hole in the universe, put a plug in it "as you pass by".

THOROAH: Basically we're mostly talking about demonstrating all of this as
compared to the occasional verbal exchange we might have. The exchange of
these philosophies.

AARON: Right. This is energy. This is action. This is more Infinite Spirit
than Eternal Son, perhaps, or Universal Father. It is not exclusively
personality, but circuitry, and conjoint action.

THOROAH: I can't imagine what it would be like for the Creator to struggle so
hard in revealing Himself to His creation. That's a mind-boggler.

AARON: I speculate He must have created for Himself an avenue of
immateriality -- it being immaterial to Him whether it is as we perceive it
ought to be or not. Our perception perhaps would have us behave in certain
ways and react or respond in a way that is only suitable for our experience.
And a great Creator, a great Teacher, would have a perspective that our
learning would only delight the purpose and not discourage him at all,
whereas we are still inclined to sense discouragement and feel hesitation.

I hope I didn't convey, in that remark, that you were anything less than
relatively perfect, my friend.

THOROAH: It's a good thing!

AARON: I know. I can see your sensitivity to some of those analyses that
leave you on one hand feeling you have lots of latitude and leeway, and at
the same time, interpreting that as being less than it could be possible for
you to be if you didn't have to be all that you can be.

THOROAH: It is hard to figure out how much damage or how much good we could
generate at this end of creation. That's the reality that I see, and
sometimes that can be discouraging. The separation of the conscious and
super-conscious. That - being conscious of our consciousness - being almost
able to look at ourselves in the overall schematic, it could get
discouraging; however, that is only occasional thing, with myself, and I am
very grateful for the demonstrative love from the Teachers and the Planetary
Helpers which make dealing with that sense of insignificance so much easier.

AARON: Well, when we continue to direct you into realms of service paths and
tell you that you are the arms and legs, the eyes and ears, the hands and
mouth of the operation, there ought to be little doubt in your mind that you
are important. If we were able to be there in the flesh I suppose we would
be, but we haven't been called upon to materialize, and so I help you in your
attempts to have the insight to follow the supreme directives within your
constitution, your personal configuration, that which will bring about the
best that can be for this point in evolution in time and space.

Trust me! It will be an improvement. It will be made an improvement because
of the intelligent universe. If they managed to make the Lucifer Rebellion
an advantage in the long run, it is assured they can find value in anything.
And that was not a carte blanche invitation to fun pell mell into difficulty,
either.

THOROAH: No, we don't have to intentionally do that.

AARON: If you were intentionally encouraged, perhaps you would behave better
in the long run.

THOROAH: Yes.

AARON: You might become like sheep and follow the sound of the Master's voice
and not dare to think otherwise about making any other decision except that
one to follow Him.

THOROAH: A conscious sheep.

AARON: A conscious, consecrated, willing follower. His sheep. We celebrate
the birth of the Good Shepherd here in your culture soon. It is a busy
season for everyone in taking advantage of the season and the human responses
thereto. Happy Hanukkah, Merry Christmas. See you next time.

THOROAH: Thank you, Aaron.

AARON: Good night.
