AARON: Good afternoon everybody.  This is Aaron.  I'm on-line and on-board in 
Spokane this afternoon.

THOROAH: Greetings, Aaron.

AARON: Greetings, yes.  Relax, Gerdean.  

Let's talk about energy.  Let's talk about the kind of energy that has no 
personality, that is unsentimental; the kind of energy that makes things 
happen.  You think of power in electricity as impersonal energy that makes 
things happen; yes, indeed.  It's still not the kind of energy I want to 
focus on.  Maybe we could call this "kinetic" energy or "molecular 
interaction".  Have you got any other ideas that can help us align our 
thoughts with that energy which we would deem worthy of being part of?

THOROAH: It's sort of a natural cosmic energy, rather more existential than 
personal.  It is more if an impersonal energy.  It's there for everyone, the 
same.

AARON: It can be appreciated as pattern, perhaps.  A mobile pattern.  The 
flow of the river, the personal pace that you have about you, and in 
particular, in your optimum circumstances, when life is clicking along.  
Maybe we could just call this energy "life" and be done with it.

Yes, everybody likes life.  Even those who have not found joy in living still 
like life enough to prefer it to the alternative, for the most part.  Even 
those who choose to terminate their life often exist in the belief or the 
hope that it is simply a way of life they are terminating, and not all hope 
of eternal life.  And so energy and life is a value level of your mind as 
well as a medium of locomotion for the soul.

I thought I'd talk about energy because of the dearth of solar energy at this 
point in time, in this hemisphere, on this shortest day, when solar energy is 
at its lowest and while the hubbub of Christmas shopping is at a fever pitch; 
while your weather has kept you indoors and in your own heads or hearts as a 
place to be with your energies.  The point is to show how collective 
consciousness - or collective unconsciousness - can perform changes, 
indelible impressions upon existence such that the pattern and energy of 
reality is changed.  

A lot of people spend a lot of time expending energy and finding their 
reality outside themselves. You would think that people who are outside of 
themselves would be presenting a quality of selflessness such as would bring 
about light-heartedness, fellowship, gaity, camaraderie, filiality and so 
forth.  This presentation represents energy expressed as a sense of 
belonging, a sense of fellowship, a sense of family, "all's right with the 
world", "all is calm, all is bright," although in a very real sense it is 
impossible to appreciate the calm, quiet atmosphere of God-conscious energy 
because so many people have aberrant ideas about what God is and how God 
would manifest through them, if indeed that concept has ever crossed their 
minds.

The mortal mind has gone to great lengths to establish God as an impersonal 
energy, and not a personal involvement such that one could speak of Him 
comfortably as a natural part of their life.  Thus it is that even in the 
peak of festivity and harmonious thanksgiving, it is possible that Our Father 
is hardly even present.    But were the consciousness of the people such that 
they included the loving personality that Father is, that Mother is, there 
would be such a dimension added to energy as to establish a new paradigm of 
social awareness and consciousness such that we would realize the brotherhood 
of man in its entirety, and in this we have our lives invested.

You who have been born again, born of the spirit, you who profess to be 
religionists, who have the medallion of Machiventa Melchizedek as your 
breastplate, and who fly the banner of Michael as your hero, can begin to 
corral the misdirected and unguided energies that unconsciously are affecting 
energy on Urantia in ungoverned, impersonal and misguided paths of endeavor.  
I guess I could boil this down to say that you can control the masses.  You 
can lead the sheep.  You can build a following.  You can develop a 
congregation.  You can influence the belief systems of the multitudes.  You 
can do things for Urantia that even Jesus couldn't do.  Because haven't you 
got each other, fellow agondonters?  Haven't you got the confidence of the 
Teaching Mission?

Haven't you got the background information from the Urantia text?  Haven't 
you got the experience of realizing the Truth, the Beauty and the Goodness of 
divinity interwoven throughout the pattern of your personal lives?   Have you 
not been touched and changed by the energy that is made greater, is enhanced, 
is realized entirely in acknowledging your association of  relationship with 
the Creator by allowing that you are the offspring of this Eternal Parent, 
you are personalized as the Son of the Father, you are a "chip off the old 
block," a microcosm of the macrocosm, a front runner in the advertisement for 
a greater reality?  

Energy.  So many different kinds of energies brought on by so many different 
motivations and designs.  Free will in the doing of it.  What can you do to 
alter the course of living energy?  How can you direct the flow of life such 
that it follows a divine course, even greater, much greater than those of us 
who are traffic controllers or crossing guards at elementary schools?  

As we look upon the time, the winter solstice season of reflection and 
rejoicing, we realize how much energy there is.  How much of it is focused 
here.  How much of it is focused there.  How much of it is depressed and 
focused on sorrow.  All that energy is potential that, if invested in the 
Supreme, would constitute Light and Life.  Let's bring the energy of our 
ideals in and with our spirit energy into the arena as our commitment, our 
resolution and our gift to humanity.
