*	Elyon (Jonathan TR): Friends, I come again to visit. This is Elyon. It
has, as usual, been an enjoyable experience to witness your exchanges, to hear
your expressions of curiosity, and to observe your efforts to understand and to
express understanding.
Jesus has had attached to his life history the episode of Peter's dream of
walking on water. Though it is not beyond the abilities of a Creator Son to
have
complete control and jurisdiction over things material, we all understand how he
would not set aside his own natural laws in order to demonstrate such a feat.
You also are aware of his story of scattering the seeds and letting them sprout
where they will in the multiple terrains that a seed may chance to find itself
landing in. Today I would like to make a little crossover.
As I have observed your growth, I have noted that you each are benefiting
from our involvement with you as teachers for Michael. I believe as I watch you
that you all, not only do not regret having become involved with this mission,
but you are grateful for having undertaken the effort, to have spent the time,
and to have faced your uncertainties, your doubts. You have matured in your
initial enthusiasms, in your perhaps grander vision than this mission had in
store all along.
In every journey a variety of terrains must be crossed to reach a
destination. The spiritual journey is no less released from this variety of
terrain crossing. This is why endeavors of a spiritual nature include
philosophical and psychological and relational aspects, for the spiritual
journey
is a whole-being journey. It includes the health and well-being of your
physical
vehicle and sanity and sobriety of your mind.
All of these fields can be likened to differing pairs of walking shoes.
When the ground beneath you is as hot sand you must wear the appropriate shoes.
When the ground beneath is as cool grass, then you are free to walk in your bare
feet. Like the seeds that by chance fall upon this varied terrain, as you make
your ascent to the Father, you will encounter these differing substrates,
and you
will of necessity use various protective coverings or appropriate shoes to
accommodate your forward progress. Though you know you will never actually walk
on water, you may find fins to be appropriate shoes to propel yourself through
that medium of travel.
There can be a point where one will stall in growth when the ground upon
which you are traveling is pleasant, when you feel the refreshment and the ease
of such a terrain that you will not overtly avoid entering into more difficult
terrain, but you may unconsciously not look for that terrain. We teachers are
hopeful that we can be gentle and helpful in urging you to cross the line
between
the comfortable into the more difficult. You have gone far enough in your
journey to have discovered the thrill of crossing difficult terrain and
realizing
the vantage point you have attained in such an ascent. A wise traveler will
take
shoes that accommodate the necessary protection and abilities that a differing
terrain would confront you with.
So, as you make your journey of a spiritual nature, do not fail to take
with you a whole sackful of appropriate coverings for your feet that you may be
prepared for any turn or twist in the road. Be ever ready to change, to
accommodate what has come to your feet. In this manner you will be able to make
progress, to grow, to adapt to new conditions, and to apply your prior
accomplishments to the new challenges. Though the seed that was unfortunate to
fall on hard and barren ground would sprout and wither before the sun, if you
pack with you the proper shoes, you can adapt yourself to the harsh environment
of that segment of your journey and cross into more comforting areas. You can
withstand those dry times. You can actually grow in what appear to be stifling
conditions. Always will it be my effort to hand you another shoebox that
you may
hopefully acquire one more useful and adapted pair of shoes to face a new hurdle
in your progress.
I have finished my comments today and will remain in attendance with you.
Mark: We are aware of the great service you provide us, pulling us up. We
will try to be prepared with options for the challenges before us. Thank you.
*	Elyon: You are welcome, my good friend. I count you as one of my most
dedicated students. I am honored to have you on my roster.
*	Helena (Ginny): Good morning, this is Helena.
I have been observing you, as I need to assess your needs as we journey
along together on this wonderful adventure as servants in the kingdom of our
Father. Speaking of service, we had some dialogue about learning another's
needs, how we can assess and be sensitive to them and how we can minister to the
needs of another as a prerequisite to allowing the love of our Father to flow
through us, as our great master and teacher has already spoken to you about us
all being his accessories to his love.
Let us continue with another aspect of awareness. Before we can be of
service we must be aware of the truth of another and also be aware of the truth
of our own beings. Service has two facets, one being the giver and the other
being the one given to. We spoke of assessing another's needs and ways we
can do
that. Now let us consider ways that we can assess our own needs, ways that we
can truly be transparent, accessible. Let us think for a moment of our own
needs
and ways that we can become aware of them and ways that we can have them
understood and met, for service implies that you be open to receiving service.
What are the elements of receiving service? Let us each consider and share
some thoughts on how we can prepare ourselves and open ourselves to receive
another's service. Let us begin sharing.
Jonathan: Thank you for attending today. My receiving an offer of help
could be improved by my being more aware of subtle suggestions and to work on my
tendency to resist, cringe, and only later reflect on what was offered.
Mary: Sometimes we are held up by our doubts about our worthiness to
receive assistance.
Mark: I was thinking the same and wonder whether steps to overcome that
might be to gain a better appreciation of oneself, that it's okay for things to
come your way.
Jonathan: If someone offers me a different pair of shoes, they are not
telling me the pair I am wearing is wrong, only that I may need another pair in
my journey.
Mark: Perhaps there is a more suitable match.
Mary: A self-image issue can be seeing yourself as unworthy or it can be
seeing yourself as not needing help. A balanced view of the truth of who
you are
and who others are is important.
*	Helena: It is a great pleasure for me to share with you these thoughts.
Hopefully you can assist each other in learning a bit more about opening
yourselves to others. When you are in need, to be able to cast aside ego or
judgment or pride and to allow another to be of service to you requires a great
deal of trust and humility, for in receiving another's gift you also give
something of yourself, namely, that you reveal your true selves as being at some
time or another also in need. To allow others to serve you makes their gift
even
sweeter. As you reflect on ways that you could be of service, keep in mind this
other half. How can you be served?
You know that you are completely welcome to our services from us who are
eagerly awaiting your requests for wisdom, knowledge, guidance, for we too are
looking for ways to serve you. Do not be afraid, in your daily meditations and
prayers, to make your needs known, for we are indeed ready to listen and to
begin
the process of finding ways to help you. Do not be afraid to ask for help, for
nothing is too small or insignificant for us. As you know, we have many, many
years, in your terms, of experience. We have ways of helping you to grow and
would gladly visit you regularly to offer you these gifts.
Thank you for your time today. As you plan each week how you can better
serve your fellow beings, I am delighted to be a part of your group. I am
learning each time to find ways of assisting you. Continue in your pursuit of
the light and the love that our Father has to give to you. I take my leave.
