ABRAHAM & MARY
JANUARY 23, 2006
WOODS CROSS GROUP
I am ABRAHAM. Greetings. What a healing group of people we have here
this evening. I am touched to see how faith has blossomed down
through the generations to keep our cause alive. I find our faith to
be so stable because it is not forced-it just is. How blessed are we
to have this freedom and put it to good use in everyday living.
It has been an honor for me to know you and see you grow in spirit.
It would do you well to know the mass personalities here on my side
cheering you on, always hoping and praying for your advancement. It
is a cause to rejoice when we can see Father bring about an ultimate
good in any situation.
I am MARY. Greetings again, friends, I do believe this evenings
topic is about life preparation. I know that many of us can look
back on the difficulties of life and wish they had never happened.
Many of us make effort every day to avoid trudging through the same
difficulties over and over again. We all know individuals who have
become quite embittered over their personal experience, but those
who attempt to live a life in the spirit realize that these
difficulties were simply preparation or training for what is to
come.
Everything that holds the spark of life has purpose. Different
universes have different goals and each one is set up with a network
of individuals to achieve these goals. You could say one of our
collective goals is to bring growth and actuality to the Supreme
Being. The more we live and experience, the more enlightened we
become, which brings our God in time into actuality.
I don't believe as a mortal I thought much about the advancement of
our universe or our Supreme Being. In such a materialistic world, I
was more captivated by what was before my eyes. In my life I had
experienced a number of hardships, which Father used to bring about
an ultimate good and was indeed training for me to become an apostle
of Christ.
Every individual has particular gifts and is part of the universe
network. As you each mature in spirit you would do well to ponder
your cosmic citizenship and the responsibilities thereof. At this
time of correction many of our tasks are accelerated to bring
individuals into their natural talent. Look not on these
circumstances as hardships but as training and bridge building.
In all sincerity, we are soldiers for the Master and have committed
ourselves to serving Him and His cause. He set a wonderful example
of forbearance in drinking the cup of 'come what may.' With these
thoughts in mind, let us allow the world's opinion to fall by the
wayside and serve the spirit to the best of our ability.
This week think about your natural gifts. Think about those tasks
that bring you soul satisfaction. What is your cosmic
responsibility? That is all for this evening. From Abraham and
myself, we send you our love. Until next time, shalom.
