The Teaching Mission

When I was a little girl with pigtails and wearing a plaid dress, I approached September with a sense of anticipation. As each summer came to a joyous but exhausted close, a stirring would come into me, deep inside, which I eventually recognized as a love of learning. By the time I became an adult, my soirees into autumn had become pre-occupied with cares about the onset of winter, bad roads and high heating bills, and yet even with the burdens of adult responsibility, the lengthening shadows of late summer stirred the child in me to feel that age-old sense of expectation, a longing, a twinge of anticipation.

Thus, when I discovered that the entire universe is one vast school, the eyes of my inner child opened wide in a re-visitation of that stirring which comes during the first brisk days of autumn as surely and as intuitively as the squirrels are moved to gather acorns and the geese are stirred to fly south.

The schools I attended when I was a child were not concerned about personal relationships with the universe. We studied astronomy and memorized the planetary patterns such as Orion and Sagittarius. We could discern the Big Dipper and could identify the red planet Mars and spot the planet Venus near the North Star, but this was merely knowledge, mechanical information. In short, I learned facts in school, but I did not learn about truth until it stirred within me, luring me to learn about the universe as my home and to Deity as my spiritual Parents.

The joy of learning begins with this childlike attitude of willingness to learn. As we open our hearts and minds to discover the wonders of the universe and our place in it, as we become willing to accept ourselves as finite creatures of the material world able to engage in relationship with the infinite, as we learn to balance the lures of the spirit and the needs of the flesh, as we seek to attain God-consciousness and develop self-mastery over our animal nature, as we strive to make of ourselves better partners, better neighbors, better parents, better citizens and better thinkers, we then become intelligent, responsible, ethical and moral beings. We learn eternal values and meanings which we can apply to our lives and pass along to the next generation, to those next in line for the culture and wisdom we are privileged to teach as a result of having learned.

"It is the purpose of education to develop and sharpen these innate endowments of the human mind; of civilization to express them; of life experience to realize them; of religion to ennoble them; and of personality to unify them." This, then, puts a whole new slant on "education" and it allows me to realize it was no wonder my heart stirred when it was time to go back to school! It wasn't just my mind that was stimulated by the concept of learning! It was my very being!

An Archangel of Nebadon, author of Urantia Paper 48 " The Morontia Life"* Section 8 says, "The mortal-survival plan has a practical and serviceable objective; you are not the recipients of all this divine labor and painstaking training only that you may survive just to enjoy endless bliss and eternal ease. There is a goal of transcendent service concealed beyond the horizon of the present universe age. If the Gods designed merely to take you on one long and eternal joy excursion, they certainly would not so largely turn the whole universe into one vast and intricate practical training school, requisition a substantial part of the celestial creation as teachers and instructors, and then spend ages upon ages piloting you, one by one, through this gigantic universe school of experiential training. The furtherance of the scheme of mortal progression seems to be one of the chief businesses of the present organized universe, and the majority of innumerable orders of created intelligences are either directly or indirectly engaged in advancing some phase of this progressive perfection plan."

*[Editor's note: morontia = quasi-spiritual, a realm half-way between the physical and the spiritual]

There are many now who have enrolled in the Melchizedek University here on this world and for the past ten years we in the Teaching Mission have been studying under the influence of the Teacher Corp.* Who are these Teachers? By and large the Teacher Corp are former mortals who have ascended and have now enrolled in the courses set by Machiventa Melchizedek, in conformity with Michael of Nebadon's ascension plan of progressive perfection for the creatures of time and space.

[Editor's note: Teaching Mission is the 10-year- old movement which has sprung up under the tutelage of the Teacher Corp, comprised of Supernal Teachers. Machiventa Melchizedek, one of the Order of Melchizedek; is serving as our Planetary Prince. Michael is of the Order of Michael Sons who create the inhabited worlds. He is known to us also as the Good Shepherd, Christ Michael, Jesus, the Master, and the Creator of our Universe, Nebadon.]

Teacher Aaron is one of the recognized members of the Teacher Corp. In the following lesson, he reiterates the Teachers' subservience to Deity.

TEACHER AARON: Greetings. I am Aaron. Tonight I am beginning a series of discussions with you on progress in spiritual understanding. Your mind is not the end all, but it is the arena wherein we have the opportunity to function. Your Adjuster is the Navigator of your spiritual development. We put into place some of the directions of the Navigator. It would be a mistake for you to consider us as equal to the Navigator. That would be like mistaking the rear of the ship for the front. We guide from behind, as a support, whereas the Adjuster guides from the front and asks you to join Him.

What then is our benefit to you? We give you exposure to rudimentary skills and concepts of spiritual value. We apply some grain in the machinery which causes friction so your mind is stimulated to ponder the possibilities. This gives the Adjuster* some meat to work with. Instead of waiting for you to stumble upon moral questions and dilemmas by chance in daily life, we have been commissioned to accelerate the process by giving a regimen of exercises to you who would listen. We are aiding the evolution of your society by presenting you with information at an accelerated level, which will present you with choices and increased opportunity for growth.

[Ed.: The Adjuster, known by many other names, including Mystery Monitor, is the fragment of God which indwells the mind of mortals and adjusts our thoughts spiritward.]

Don't lift this up higher than it needs to be. All glory belongs to our Creator for allowing this to progress. We are in the palm of his hands. Be certain that you recognize our relationship with you as being on the friendship level and the sibling level. Don't get yourself to the place where you are adoring the process and us as relators of information at the expense of your inward development with the First Source and Center. Your consciousness of Michael's spirit will amplify the truth in these words.

Being about the Father's business is the application of one's self to the mission of personal development to the extent that one is released from the fetters of self-consciousness into the increasingly dawning universal consciousness of self-forgetfulness. This is the place of spiritual potential where the recognized child of God claims its birthright and becomes a true source of spiritual power. This is the place where the universe is reclaimed. Self-forgetfulness begins by gaining an acceptance of self, not a denial. You must know who you are and accept it and be willing to move forward, rather than trying to push down your limitations.

You have probably recognized by now that our methods do not emphasize what you shouldn't do as much as we emphasize things you can do, steps you can take, to progress forward. Try to look at life in the manner of what you can do. When you get down or feel that you are slipping or missing a beat, then look at something you can do for someone else, or some project that you can take up that will give you a sense of re-engagement with the path of progress.

At this time I will allow our discussion to end. I would appreciate you reading this information and then offering questions at the beginning of our next contact. Once we are clear with this information, then we will proceed to the next. I appreciate your efforts and look forward to you applying yourself to the projects and goals you envision for yourself and your family. I will help in any way that I can be of assistance. Keep the consciousness of divinity as your goal. My peace to you this evening."

You will notice that Aaron's emphasis is on personal spiritual progression, on our evolving, experiential reality, a fact that is corroborated in Urantia Paper 2, The Nature Of God (Section 7, Divine Truth and Beauty), where it says, "Truth is coherent, beauty attractive, goodness stabilizing. And when these values of that which is real are co?ordinated in personality experience, the result is a high order of love conditioned by wisdom and qualified by loyalty. The real purpose of all universe education is to effect the better co-ordination of the isolated child of the worlds with the larger realities of his expanding experience. Reality is finite on the human level, infinite and eternal on the higher and divine levels." This experiential theme underlies all of our studies.

After being introduced to the concept of the Teachers through Machiventa Melchizedek and his associate Abraham, we were glad to begin our curriculum under the able guidance of Teacher Ham. The Melchizedek University curriculum has sometimes been difficult, but Teacher Ham has influenced hundreds of human lives and is loved by many. We are pleased to offer one of his recent lessons as an example of what you will find featured in the TeaM Edition.

TEACHER HAM: [Nashville, Tenn. 7/22/01] Greetings, children, I am Ham and I welcome you tonight with gladness and love. My heart is overflowing with happiness to again be with my students. Tonight, let us discuss changes in the spiritual lives of Urantians. [Editor's note: Urantia is the name of our planet, Urantians are the people who live here.]

For thousands of years you have required human spiritual leadership. You have been blessed by many human teachers who have given the world an immeasurable uplift. When Melchizedek came the first time, he came as a man. When your creator son came, again he came as a man. But now, you are moving beyond the adolescent phase where one needs human example and are transitioning into the phase of being able to understand higher knowledge and wisdom directly from spiritual sources.

There will still be human leaders, certainly, but you children are on the edge of being aware of a much greater reality. You are coming into contact with a new and greater world. Like the Viking explorers of old who braved the seas of faith and landed in a new world, so have you my friends braved the seas of doubt and the storms of unbelief to set foot in a new and greater world. Indeed, you are becoming as ambassadors from our world to yours. You are testifying with your lives as to its existence and you know of a certainty that mortal death is but a step from this world to the next.

You are gaining immeasurably from your exposure to this greater world. You are truly becoming citizens of the universe, heavenly citizens, even while sojourning on earth. You are broadening your horizons through contact, regular contact, with teachers, angels, and even an occasional whisper from your indwelling spirits. The world has opened up and you find you have a place in this greater world, in this greater scheme of things even while you may be searching for a place in this smaller earthly world. Always are you sure and secure of your place in the greater heavenly world.

History is indeed changing now. Human beings are less and less reliant on other human beings for their spiritual bread and water. More and more is humanity reaching toward the heavenly world and the heavenly world is reaching back and grasping your hands individually. Gradually, you are becoming less and slaves to tradition and to the traditional fear based religions. More and more are you turning toward love and receiving your spiritual bread directly from the spirit rather than the leftovers from someone else's table. Gradually, you are perceiving that there is vast amounts of, vast numbers of morontia and spiritual beings who have come to this planet to help and guide you each individually.

This is vast change and you are fortunate to be living through this. You are fortunate to be able to perceive the Master's power flooding back to the world in which you live. You indeed are the first to behold this power, to have understanding of the vastness of his love and the completeness of his mercy. The Master comes to all who would open their hearts to him. His power is transforming. You are not the same people you were before you opened that door and allowed him entry.

Rejoice then and be exceedingly glad for the Master's arm is about your shoulder and his word of encouragement speaks to your ear. "Follow me," says he. "Follow me." Allow his hope to fill your hearts, allow his love to comfort your minds. Allow his footsteps to guide the way. Be unafraid to follow wheresoever he will lead you. Have complete faith and a steady heart. And now, I would like to receive questions at this time.

Q: Your lesson dealt with the spiritual threshold and the host of morontia and spiritual beings that surround us. Are there any techniques we should be aware of to be closer to and communicate with these beings?

A: Certainly, yes, the body should be clean of poisons. The heart should be clean of spiritual poisons of fear, hatred, envy and so on. Treat your body and soul as the temple of the Father. Have respect and take care of the physical and the spiritual. Stay your mind on him as much as possible. Seek the stillness that your mind may be quieted and your heart may be humbled. Seek not the spirit through the material but seek the spirit through the spirit. But above all, seek after love. Reach out to the world, both material and nonmaterial, in love. This is the way. Is this helping?

Q: You spoke about poisons in the body. I thought that Jesus said it wasn't what we put in our body but what came out of our body in speaking poisons?

A: Yes, he was trying to put into perspective the ritual hand washing before taking a meal. There were people then and people now who put the form above the substance. But, surely you must also understand that it saddens the angels to witness their human charges poisoning their bodies with alcohol or drugs for these things interfere with spiritual growth and can lead to weakened physical states which lead to disease and even death. So, certainly these poisons should be avoided.

Q: Ham, I have a couple questions. When you were talking about the poisons in the spirit like anger and envy. What is a good way of getting rid of those?

A: In these matters, prayer is your most powerful tool. When one prays consistently and sincerely that the spiritual poison be removed, then it shall be. Ask at the same time that this poison be replaced with its antidote. That anger or fear be replaced with love. That envy should be replaced with gratitude. Prayer is not employed enough in my opinion. It is conventional for you to pray for others, but praying for something for yourself leads to profound and lasting change in the personality. Use this tool, this great gift. Did the Master not say, "ask and you shall receive"? This is the law of the universe. As soon as you know enough to ask for something, then you are ready to receive it. Is this helping?

Q: A lot of times our lessons are about developing our own spiritual growth. Do you have lessons on putting our spiritual growth in action. Inequality is heavy on my heart. Do you have messages on putting this into practice or is inequality something we just have to suffer through?

A: This period of your growth as a planet will see many changes. Material inequality may always exist in some degree and yet spiritually, who is first and who is last? Those who endure great suffering often advance quite fast spiritually and have great lessons to teach these humans who may be materially fed but spiritually barren. We see great riches where you see great poverty. Human beings will gradually learn to love and respect each other as they are. That being said, it is correct for those with great prosperity to be concerned and generous with those whose fortunes are less. Compassion is a central spiritual fruit. You cannot love only a few of your brethren, but righteousness compels you to love all of your brethren. And so, this impulse oflove is good and a positive sign for the world. Is this helping?

Q. You were talking about the threshold of the bigger world and the smaller world. I wonder if you have any advice on having the incentive or inspiration to go back into the smaller world and having to abide by its conventions and all that.

A: Yes, when you are motivated by service then all manner of human convention and narrow thinking become simply an interesting pathway. You serve in many ways. Each one of you is brought into contact with people who need you. They may not know they need you, they may be full of resentment or jealousy or anger toward you, but nonetheless they need you. Each one of you must conduct yourselves as an ambassador for a greater world. You must give those who stumble in darkness, glimpses of the light. This is your purpose. The son of man came not to be served but to serve. He came not as a conqueror, but as a humble servant willing to wash the feet of his children. When life is understood in this greater context as holding these deeper meanings, the most humble work is elevated for you serve God when you serve his children. Think of yourselves as not servants of God, but sons and daughters of God who have seen a greater light and whose duty now is to give that light where you can to his other children. Serving the Father elevates life. There is no job so small that it is not precious to the Father. The Master said he who would be greatest among you must become a servant to all. That means not just the people you want to serve, but the people you don't want to serve as well.

You may say, "Well, aside from the semantics, there is nothing new here!" A personal Teacher named Klarixiska would incline to agree with you, for on January 27, 2001 in Pocatello, Idaho, she said:

TEACHER KLARIXISKA: "We do not give you anything new necessarily. Truth and spirituality remains the same, in the sense that each individual must make/ must recognize their own positive relationship with God. Our purpose is to help you in a personal way. I am your own personal cheering section to pat you on the back when things go well and to encourage you when you are down. Yes, there are angels, the Inner Guide and your own devout mind. We are just more celestial entities to bring you and this planet to Light, Life and Love!"

.... but there are mortals among us who cannot overlook the quality of affection and loyalty that has developed as a result of associating with these beloved heavenly helpers. For example, this transmission by Teacher Olfana on "companionship" serves to portray the intimacy that develops in the relationship between student and teacher. This kind of cosmic connection reinforces our understanding that "We are not alone!"

TEACHER OLFANA: [Snowbird, Utah, 7/7/01] First of all, just for a moment, I would like each of us to reach out and hold the hands of the persons adjacent to us. (Group forms a circle, holding hands.) My lesson this evening, my dear ones, is on companionship. To feel that we are in this world, being held by others, being touched by others, being connected with others, is a precious gift, and the only true way to walk through life "in love." This sense of companionship exists throughout the entire pattern of God's Plan. God, in companionship with his Eternal Partners, created a vast universe of loving creation. You, being a part of this loving creation, are indeed then, companioned by all who connect from you all the way up to the Absolute, Eternal, Source and Center of All.

At the same time, I would suggest to you, that if you view it as not just your desire, but truly your responsibility, to reach out and connect yourself with others, you will find that, indeed, this desire to connect with others will offer you possibilities of service in this world which will most remarkably develop for you an experiential life that you will be proud to take with you to the Mansion Worlds, and beyond. Each time you reach out with a friendly hand, and connect with another, you are offering a gesture of peace, you are offering a gesture of respect, a gesture of strength, and companionship, of safety, of value, and of warmth.

How much does it take to simply remember that this is something that you can do on a daily basis, to make life more pleasant for others, and certainly for yourself? That you are one who fully extends your hand in a clasp of greeting, in a companionable hand-holding walking together, as a gesture of support to one who is weaker than yourself, or less secure than yourself, or smaller or less-developed than you are. How much satisfaction there is in a little child's heart, when an adult reaches down and grasps their hand, saying in such a gesture, "I cherish you, and wish to guide you, wish to lead you now, along the path with me."

Please, my dear ones, keep this in mind, and in any moment when you perhaps feel bereft of such a hand being offered to you, stop for a moment, and remember, that the Master's warm, strong, loving hand is always there for you to be able to reach toward, and grasp. And each time you offer your hand to be held by another, you are indeed offering something of the Master to them, also. With this, I will close our meeting. This is, in a sense, the very end of our conference together, and I am so glad to have the honored position to be here to share it with you. I offer love out now through my hands, to yours. Would you please now, pass this love along to each one you hold? (Pause, as loving energy passes through the circle.)

(Smiling) We, indeed, my children, rise to heaven in moments such as these. Thank you, Father, for the opportunity to show our love to each other. Amen.

You are all cherished by the Teachers, by Machiventa, and by all those who look down upon this world and wish it well. I wish you all a safe journey back to your beds, and tonight, as you go to sleep, keep in mind that hand of Michael's, which reaches out to grasp yours. Namaste, my dear ones.*

"What am I to do with the love I have for our teachers? Where did I get those teachings that changed me one more time? I was reborn several times in my life and each time I went through what others have evaluated as an evangelical phase. This time the teachers showed me first hand God's love as manifested through Christ Michael* our Creator and Father, because we were told that all our energy that we direct to Father God, goes through Michael's circuits.

"There are others in our group who have a love relationship with the teachers..What do you think when a teacher says to you when you want to stop a 40-year tobacco habit, "Breathe in my love instead"? What do you feel when you are in guided meditation and your loving teachers say, "We are now moving around you and breathing love into your back to your heart"? In no work-shop I've ever been to has anybody ever suggested to breathe love into my back. A human's back is a very vulnerable place, as we can't see behind. We would not even think that love should come from the back, through our backs. "There are plenty of people I love and I'd not desire anything else for them than to experience our celestial teachers directly and personally. And our teachers say time and again there are enough celestials waiting to serve together with us. I do not want them exclusively. They cannot be had exclusively, unless we really want a personal teacher. And what makes me so special to be allowed teacher contact? Are we not in this together? The teachers are together. They told us recently that they "hold hands" (in Urantian terms) to bring down Michael's love energy to us. They unite to create different energy circuits.

"You see, togetherness in heaven, more togetherness here, bringing as many to the banquet as want to come on their own free will, is that not an ideal that feels right and good? And the following invitations by our teachers are not just meant for "us"!

TEACHER ALANA: Our strength is your strength. Whenever you are fainthearted, or fear that you will fail, we are there. It is true, and it has been said, 'this too shall pass'. It is another way of understanding that you were born to change. It is our joy that you are learning to change with love and joy ever ready in your hearts to be ex-pressed, with love and joy ever ready to ease the discomfort that change brings to the physical, emotional, and mental body, that is your temporary residence.

TEACHER LEGION: I am Legion. I wish to remind you, our strength is yours to draw upon, equally so we draw upon your strength to carry forth the message of love. It is not to be forgotten that I ask you to discipline your bodies, discipline your minds, and discipline the management and the expression of your emotions. I am not unaware that discipline is not in great favor among many of you, therefore I gladly sound like a broken record.

You are to understand that the discipline I speak of will bring more love and joy. It is not punishment. It is not restriction. It is not constraint. Discipline is an act of love that allows you to repeat things until they are so much a part of who you are that you do not need to think about it any more. When I ask you to practice the stillness, and practice it again, and practice it even now, I am simply encouraging you to discover that most precious gift of all, which is, the knowledge of God's love and the awareness that God's love is ever and always with you, ready to touch and to embrace what ever comes to pass. Thank you.

"I am a strange fellow. When human teachers, gurus and coaches alike, gave me similar advice --for often big money-- I would listen -- for a while I would. Another reason why I would want my human friends, families and acquaintances to meet these Teachers, -- 'cause I am not the only strange fellow, I've found out."

TEACHER WELMEK [Indianapolis, Indiana, 1997] I live in a world that is quite unlike yours. At present, I am stationed on your planet. I am called to assist in many capacities: as teacher, as administrator, as friend and companion. I live in a dimension, for truly there is no real counterpart in your vocabulary that can aptly describe where I live. I see you and your material world in a similar way that you experience it. But I live in a world that is quite unlike yours. I function in a realm that is not conditioned by the same laws of physical reality that you must adhere to. This realm has neither form nor substance that you would understand. Suffice to say that it is quite beautiful, quite harmonious and quite efficient in its ability for me to effect certain tasks. You are much conditioned by the environment around you. You must contend with noise, traffic and pollution. And while I see this and my heart goes out to you, for truly this is very sad the things you must contend with, it does not affect me, I am beyond its grasp, I am beyond the material. I am sorry I cannot be more specific, for truly this is something you must experience for it to be truly understood. Some day you will, my friend, and when you do you will be much in awe of God's plan and God's way.

TEACHER ABRAHAM [Woods Cross, Utah, 2000] I have been commissioned by Michael. I am the Abraham from the old testament, husband of Sara, father to Isaac, student of Machiventa. I have been commissioned by [Christ] Michael and His staff to return to my native planet to teach because of my mortal experience. This world is in somewhat of a state of emergency, so I have been asked to return and teach from my mortal experience, and because of my association with my mentor, Machiventa. I have a deep and abiding love for the human race. It is an honor to enter into this Correcting Time and help in the upliftment of Urantia. I am not so much as the books of old say I am, but more along the lines of the way your book says I am, yes.

TEACHER OLFANA: [Half Moon Bay, CA, 1996] I would never violate freewill choice. I am an ascended mortal from a time-and-space world, who has now developed God-fused capacities to reach beyond all limitations of time and space. I can operate within time and space dimensions, but am in no way restrained by these parameters. I am well aware of much of the "Knowingness, the Wisdom of God's Ways" and am guided from this high level of His Design. I have "power" over other beings, if you will, in that my scope, capacity, and range is so much more all-encompassing than theirs. TEACHER DANIEL [Pocatello, Idaho, 4-27-01] I have fused with my Thought Adjuster in my morontial experience. What you people are now beginning to understand is beyond the thoughts of almost all human beings. It is that you, when you are perfectly fused with that piece of God, that Thought Adjuster, that Mind Monitor, you have become one. That Monitor becomes you, gains personality though you. You, the mortal you, combined with the immortal Thought Adjuster becomes a new kind of being, the Paradise Finaliter in potential, a true universe personality. I, because I am past the mortal existence, and because I have fused with my Thought Adjuster in my morontial experience, have a far greater understanding of this than I can express to you, but I am only a morontial ascender. I am a long way from the perfectedness of spirit. But I tell you my friends, the step by step willingness to do the will of God will lead to the complete transformation of your animal nature from whence you came into this new creation, this universe ascender, this Paradise Finaliter in potential.

TEACHER WELMEK: [Indianapolis, Indiana, 2001] My planet was more fully developed. I have been interred here for many years prior to actually speaking to humans, but I was never physically present on your world the way you are. I lived on a planet that is far distant from yours in the local universe of Nebadon. My planet was more fully developed. In your text of The Urantia Book you have planets which are described as being in the era of light and life. This is a highly evolved civilization that has eradicated many of the social problems that you experience. It is more of a heaven on earth environment which I was fortunate enough to be raised in. However, saying that, I will tell you this much: that your experiences here are also enabling you to have many experiences that I was not fortunate to have. Challenges that are placed in front of you that I was not fortunate to experience.

TEACHER ABIGAIL: [Pocatello, Idaho, 2001] I am an ascendant mortal from another system in the universe of Nebadon. Good evening, dear friends. You have not become acquainted with me. I am a personal teacher who has been given the privilege of addressing you and meeting you. My name is Abigail. I am an ascendant mortal from another system in the universe of Nebadon. I have been accepted in the emergency mission of Michael, known to you as the Correcting Time, and I have been assigned to a mortal member of this group to begin my work, under Daniel's tutelage, as well as Minearsia and Aaron. I will be in contact with my charge.

TEACHER ABRAHAM: [Pocatello, Idaho 11-6-00] We are announcing a major change in reality for this planet! My friends, when we first began this Teaching Mission as a result of the adjudication of the Lucifer Rebellion, we were not simply bringing you some phantasmal, imaginary and idle passtime. We were announcing a major change in reality for this planet! This reality shift continues to accelerate. You are truly standing on the edge of the most momentous moment in the history of Urantia. The critical mass is being reached in spiritual transformation.

TEACHER OLFANA: [Half Moon Bay, CA, 1997] I am indeed attached to the ministry corps which is lead by Prince Machiventa I am happy to address your concerns regarding my relationship to the ministry which now serves Urantia in bringing about its rehabilitation. I am indeed attached to the ministry corps which is lead by Prince Machiventa, and I serve under his immediate direction. I am also in charge of delegated groups of celestial forces of many categories, who carry out specific components of this Campaign of Redemption. I serve with and administrate other celestial beings in the work of healing, teacher-training, the establishment of further teacher contact in many countries, including those where The Urantia Book has made little impact, and the amplification and elucidation of the Life Carrier programs which continue to evolve and develop on this experimental planet.

TEACHER HAM: [Nashville, Tennessee, 11-05-00] Your planet is undergoing a massive effort at spiritual uplift. The Urantia Book was a forerunner to the more personal teachings which you have been receiving over the last quarter century. Yes, these are both parts of the same plan, of course. As always seems to happen with immature human beings, when someone receives part of the truth, one tends to exaggerate this part and to make it seem to be the whole. The Urantia Book was never meant to be an orphan. Truth is always living, it cannot be crystallized into a single book. The Urantia Book contains many advanced truths which have helped to pave the way for a more comprehensive teaching effort, but it is not, of course, the final truth or the final revelation for this time period. All of this effort is to prepare your world to eventually receive another Son.

You have lost so much ground and have had so many set backs that extraordinary efforts are being made to help bring you up to a level where a son could be received with gratitude rather than resentment. Your world has a long way to go before this can be possible. Fear not my son that you must choose between loyalty to a book containing truth or loyalty to a teacher bearing truth. Remain loyal instead to the living truth and all else will come into perspective for you.

TEACHER TOMAS: [Pocatello, ID] Now that your quarantine is ended, you are being re-drawn into the circuits. This whole idea of interconnectedness, indeed, an understanding of circuitry, is essential to the appreciation of the living encircuitment that connects everything, from the molecular level and smaller, to the cosmic level and larger. Relationship is in everything. There is a circuit between all rightful routes through the universe, through the galaxy, through various energy patterns and matter; connections between individuals and between levels of spiritual hierarchy. A part of this re-connecting is an awareness of the various and many kinds of circuits which have been installed and are being re-activated, which were cut off many years ago due to your unfortunate Caligastian* betrayal.

We have worked long and hard for these times. We rejoice in these opportunities to make use of the spiritual flowering that is occurring in your world today. There is so much work to be done. There is so much effort required to lift the slothful animal mind up from its natural lazy legacy into the rigorous realms of thought and then beyond into spiritual reality. The climb from the primordial ooze to the vast stellar rim of space is an advancing movement that is being nurtured on a constant basis, and now that your quarantine is ended, you are being re-drawn into those circuits which will give you all of the benefits of being a part of the galaxy in which you live, a part of the Nebadon universe, and with it you are entitled to the ministrations of your many spirit helpers and counselors. We are glad to be aboard, glad to be involved in this undertaking, and, once again, grateful for the midwayers*

TEACHER BERKA: [Arcadia, CA 10/17/97] The transformation of love is the teaching of the Teaching Mission. It is important to bring spirit through yourself and into what you do until this conscious effort becomes an integral part of who you are. This, in essence, is the spiritualizing factor. This is evidence of God in your life. This is the focus of Stillness, to bring you to an awareness of your potential to spiritualize your present life, and thus become the server to all.

This is what Father intends. This is Michael's mission to Urantia. This is the underlying theme and motivation of our teaching. Of all information which you will receive from us, or any other teachers, the transformation of love is the teaching of the Teaching Mission. All else pales in comparison. No matter what becomes of the planet, and no matter the sense of urgency which you may feel, the personal transformation which you are all to undergo is the first priority in spiritualizing this world. The transformation of Love is ascension, it is Morontia*, and it is prerequisite to light and life, and Adjuster fusion.

[Ed: *Morontia is an ascending state of being which exists between the animal and the spiritual realms. This reality is experienced through the morontia form, a substance beyond finite but not yet infinite. The angelic corp reside in the morontial realms of reality.]

All of the great glory which is in store for you in the universe does not compare to the glory of the transformation of love, when the individual person begins to experience within her own heart and mind the happiness and joy which accompanies the act of unselfish giving of love through one's own life, and in all one does. Is this not the example of the Master's life? Even now is this example awaiting fruition within the lives of you mortals called forth with the capacity to bring Father's love to this world and bless that presence within yourself by bringing Father's gift to mankind. All art, science, philosophy, and psychology stand still next to Father's love, and yet will love bring beauty to art, and science to service, and philosophy to understanding, and psychology to meaning.

TEACHER ELYON: [Coeur d'Alene, Idaho 4/8/97] The greater work of myself and my associates is assistance. While Michael was here on earth fulfilling the requirements of sovereignty attainment he also chose to promote the awareness of the Father on earth to leave with the human race a simpler though uplifted view of God, personalized, dynamic, as a relationship rather than a standard of greatness only. And he used for his staff people of his day of ordinary circumstances and training. He demonstrated with his corps of evangelists that the divine and proper air-fuel ratio, through training and motivation, can combust and illuminate the world and let the spiritual light shine and energize the souls of those around them..

While the Planetary Prince establishes his headquarters with an expert staff, he too acquires and enlists the human personalities on his planet for the upliftment of the others around them. We are in a day and age of spiritual ministry where there is no established and functioning headquarters, and you do not have the physical presence of a celestial being or even a Creator personality as Michael in physical form to assist, not only assist but to guide.

Today we address you, based on your five senses, from afar. This missionary effort relies predominately on your reactions and your expressions to our input, to our motivations as we express them through our lessons. When an episode of revelation occurs upon a world of great significance, as ones that have been expressed to you as epochal revelations, guidance and assistance are both offered, the guidance of celestial wisdom and the assistance of human effort.

A small fraction of my engagement with you is guidance, and it comes in the form through which we are engaged today. I attempt to seed your minds with thoughts that may inspire, that may enlighten. But the greater work of myself and my associates is assistance. Once you have mixed inspiration and enlightenment you are primed to burst forward and to express. Here is where we teachers become excited, for this is the true outreach of the Mission, human beings uplifting one another through sincere expression of the discovery of truth, beauty, and goodness for one another to be benefitted therefrom.

Take in the bread, take in the water, be nourished, but no nourishment is worthwhile without activity to burn that nourishment. Worship is always coupled with service, for the two are really on a continuum, a spectrum, that are no more divorced from one another than is red light from blue light. In closing, if your carburetor is dirty, there is a great Carburetor Cleaner that resides within you Who can do the adjustments that can peak your performance; seek that assistance when you feel the need.

PRINCE MACHIVENTA: [Coeur d'Alene, Idaho 11/12/00] When you are assigned you are also graced with the capability. We Melchizedeks are assigned to the occupation of education. That is our innate ability as well as our local universe assignment, and it is to the credit of the divine that when you are assigned you are also graced with the capability. You human beings are given a task as well and that is through faith to ascend to the Father, to use trust and hope as your walking sticks, to clothe yourselves in love and light, to put on the shoes of courage and curiosity, to feed yourselves with the knowledge that reveals truth and truth that reveals the Father.

TEACHER WELMEK: [Indianapolis, Indiana, 9/21/00] I understand the mechanisms of the human mind. You might say that I am adept at some of the intellectual processes of the human mind, understanding its mechanisms. I have many areas that interest me, but I feel that my best effort to serve is by helping you to come to a better understanding of human motivations and human mindal connections.

TEACHER TOMAS: [Spokane, Wash. 10/15/00] I offer myself to any and all of you as you desire to work with me. I am Tomas and part of God's everywhere-ness. I mentioned two weeks ago I was like a mushroom, liable to pop up anywhere. The funny thing is, where I pop up I stay planted. I am still connected to everywhere I've ever been. I still have ongoing interests in the Pittsburgh teacher base and in the Butler teacher base in Pennsylvania. I have ongoing interests and associations in Buffalo, New York, and Hamilton, Canada. I have students in Sweden and in Finland. I have amigos in New Mexico and Costa Rica and brothers and sisters in Idaho that I continue to visit and teach and counsel with.. I am now up-starting in Spokane. I am a real globetrotter on Urantia, as it were. It is convenient for me to work through this transmitter/receiver,* however, I offer myself to any and all of you as you desire to work with me and to call upon me to come visit you or your group or your configuration no matter how intimate or large. We strive to communicate as best we can, cooperating with you, pleased with every gesture you make and every bell we ring.

(PERSONAL) TEACHER LARENZO: [Pocatello, Idaho, 5/4/01] Our roles are primarily individual with each of you, as you know. But we are also desirous of the role of group teacher, at least on a part time basis. And so we do often request of Teacher Daniel, Andronason, and Minearisa time on the docket. But, as you can see, it doesn't happen very often. This is not because we are inferior in our ability to communicate truth. It is just a difference in roles.

TEACHER OLFANA: [Half Moon Bay, CA 1997*] I am composed of morontial energies. In my capacities as a Teacher and Administrator in this Campaign of Redemption, it is necessary that I move swiftly and efficiently to many points on the globe. This is indeed a capacity I hold, and I am not bound by restrictions of gravity, the physics of light, nor any other physical limitations which bind time and space energy fields to set dynamics. Being released from time and space limitations does not, in and of itself, release me from other laws which control the morontial energies of which I am composed. I remain most definitely bound by these energies, and this clearly distinguishes me from the freedom of dimensional movement and capacities of manifestation which are the prerogatives of The Universal Father, Eternal Son, and Infinite Spirit. *[Ed. TEACHER DANIEL: [Pocatello, Idaho 4/27/01] There is much that amazes us from day to day. Don't forget that we also are learners in this process as we are seeing events occur and decisions being made in circumstances which we have never beheld either in our mortal lives or in our subsequent morontial lives. There is much that amazes us from day to day in the harsh yet clear cut choices that your environments require of you. We, of course, knew the treatment that our Master Son received here was unprecedented in its cruelty; and yet as we watch you all struggle with the legacy of the Lucifer Rebellion without the full support of the Material Son and Daughter, we marvel at how well you do. Thank you for your gratitude to us for our involvement, but please understand that we are also grateful to all of you for the lessons we are being allowed to share, albeit as an observer rather than as the decision maker.

TEACHER WELMEK: [Indianapolis 9/21/00] I see you as a seeker of truth and knowledge. I see you as my brother, as a traveler on the road to eternity, I see you as a beautiful spirit, a child of the Father who is just embarking on his eternal adventure and my heart goes out to you. My soul rejoices that you are here with me this evening. I see you all as my dearly beloved brothers and sisters with whom I hope to have a most close and intimate relationship in the days to come. I see you as my friends, I see you as my equals, I see you as my students and I see you as my teachers. I am humbled to be here in your presence and very grateful that you have invited me here this evening.

TEACHER LEGION: [Nuevo Arenal, Costa Rica, 11/17/00] We are with you. We are right next to your listening apparatus, which I think you call your ears, but it is more than your ears. We are by your side, and when you can not hear, when you struggle so, if the next time you should have the thought "take a walk" then, my beloved, know that you have heard me, for I shall most lovingly let that be your discipline for the day.

TEACHER ALANA: [Nuevo Arenal, Costa Rica, 11/12/00] There are certain private chambers of the mind and the heart that are open to us. Privacy is a spiritual matter. I shall speak to you about that now. There are certain private chambers of the mind and the heart that are open to us, always open to Michael and our beloved Mother Spirit, but you give permission, yes? (Yes.)

TEACHER ALANA: [Nuevo Arenal, Costa Rica, 10/1/00] We do indeed have great powers of protection. You spoke, among other things, of your sense of invulnerability, of being protected. This I would assure you is very real. We do not, of course, ask you therefore to drop your awareness, your sensitivity to who you are and who others present themselves to be. We ask you always to co-operate with us in the effort to bring God's love and the power of God's love into your world. As you do this you grow increasingly strong, and you grow in your sense of our strength and our power to be with you in time of need. You begin to understand that we do indeed have great powers of protection. Those who surrender to God's love always experience an unquestioned sense, or faith, in all being well.

Nevertheless, it is still your task to practice the stillness, to enter into daily prayer for the well-being of all. And that includes, of course, your individual selves. You meet from time to time those who have not yet opened their hearts or their minds to allow God's light and love to be a guiding force in their lives. They often choose different directions from the path of love. It is their fear that misguides them. You can not expect to escape the need to pay attention. It is a co-operative effort between ourselves and your individual selves to allow us to protect you from harm's way.

TEACHER LEGION: [Nuevo Arenal, Costa Rica, 10/8/00] I wish to remind you, our strength is yours to draw upon, equally so we draw upon your strength to carry forth the message of love. It is not to be forgotten that I ask you to discipline your bodies, discipline your minds, and discipline the management and the expression of your emotions. I am not unaware that discipline is not in great favor among many of you, therefore I gladly sound like a broken record.

TEACHER OLFANA: [Half Moon Bay, CA, 1994] The circuit-opening is a process which will unfold over time. From the point at which Christ Michael determined it was the Father's Will to proceed with the redemption of this sphere, and those others involved in this rebellion, there was an immediate outpouring of energy which heralded the beginning of this great Plan of Redemption and Love.

Much of the direct connection, re-connection of the circuits is only occurring, now. Indeed, even as we speak, re-connections are continuing to be made. The circuit-opening is a process which will unfold over time, because as the evolutionary wisdom of the beings on this planet increases, then the capacity for further infusion of circuit energy will increase. I am speaking of the evolutionary wisdom of the planet, which is not merely connected to the human level. Please remember this is a planet of midwayers and other beings, also.

The limiting factor of the process of circuit-opening is not directly the mere capacity to absorb the energy coming from these circuit pathways. There are other factors which govern the patterns and intensities of these circuits of energy. I will speak here of something that you may not, indeed, fully understand, but they are, the harmonics of love, the reverberations of mercy, the scintillating energy of gratitude, the song of worship - all these are the components of the circuits. I really cannot describe them in more scientifically-based terms. There is a reciprocity, a resonance which ebbs and flows, vibrates in a complimentary manner. Do you understand the concept of a perpetual motion clock? Then, there is something of the sense of the perpetual motion involved in the undulation - to the Father, to His Creation, to the Father, to His Creation - in this path of the circuits. Is this a clear illustration of my attempt to express this concept?

Q: You talked about some of the factors that are linked with the opening of the circuits. How dependent were they upon the actual adjudication of the Lucifer rebellion? Did that have to occur before the circuits could be increased in their installation and function?

TEACHER TARKAS: [Half Moon Bay, CA, 1994] You are, now, addressing Tarkas. Greetings to everyone in the room. As Olfana mentioned, the initial impetus of this circuit re-establishment was the decision of Christ Michael to begin this process of redemption. Therefore, the direct resolution of this rebellion was merely one episode within the gathering force of this circuit re-establishment.

TEACHER HAM: [Nashville, Tenn. 3/22/01] All transmissions contain some elements of the transmitter. You are asking that I should verify the veracity of a transmission and this I cannot do. All of the human participants in this mission are sincere and fully committed to transmitting the highest understanding they can conceive. That being said, all transmissions contain some elements of the transmitter. None are completely free from human input. You, therefore, must discern for yourself what resonates truth for you at this time. The transmissions are always some mixture of the word, thought, image transmitted and the receptor's interpretation of it. The beauty of this is profound, in that every person involved must actively and continually use their own discernment of truth for each transmission. As I have said many times, all things with human input contain some measure of human error. This includes even such icons as The Bible, and The Urantia Book. Therefore, rely on the Spirit of Truth which guides you yourself, not on the discernment of another being. Be at peace, my son, for you do know truth. Dwell within it. Follow it, and you will be fine.

TEACHER OLFANA: [Half Moon Bay, 1997] Your responsibility is to discover what of our words can inspire your heart in faith. I appreciate your attempt to question the accuracy and validity of the transmission done by this T/R. It is a most important point that you each view these transmissions as full of potentials for truth inspiration in your hearts and minds, and yet you humbly recognize their potential to also contain confusion or inaccuracies because of the human limitations of those who sincerely attempt to transmit our words. Your responsibility in this process is to explore our teachings so as to discover what of our words can inspire your heart in faith, sharpen your understanding of your sonship with the Father, increase your insight into majesty of God's power manifesting in your lives, solicit your soul to further develop in the light of truth, beauty, and goodness, and develop attunement with the Master as your guide, protector, and model of inspiration, in your path back to the Father.

I hope you will continue to grant us an opportunity to be a component of your spiritual studies, and that this one point of contention that you had with my commentary will not set you on a course which avoids further contact with Teaching Mission material. I applaud your long-standing and loyal commitment to The Urantia Book, and hope you will see our ministry as a loving service to augment the beauty and wisdom which the book holds. Namaste.

Hopefully these questions and answers have been helpful in providing you with an idea of how it is these Teachers have come here and why they are engaged in our training program.

So what of substance are we learning? How is this Teaching Mission contributing substantively to our real life problems and solutions? The Urantia text indicates, on page 2086, in discussing "The Future": "Even secular education could help in this great spiritual renaissance if it would pay more attention to the work of teaching youth how to engage in life planning and character progression. The purpose of all education should be to foster and further the supreme purpose of life, the development of a majestic and well?balanced personality. There is great need for the teaching of moral discipline in the place of so much self?gratification. Upon such a foundation religion may contribute its spiritual incentive to the enlargement and enrichment of mortal life, even to the security and enhancement of life eternal"

A well-balanced personality, character progression, moral discipline - these are recognized scripturally as the fruits of the spirit. And the fruits of the divine spirit are loving service, unselfish devotion, courageous loyalty, sincere fairness, enlightened honesty, undying hope, confiding trust, merciful ministry, unfailing goodness, forgiving tolerance, and enduring peace. Thus our true character is enhanced as we learn from these Teachers more about who we are and how we may better ourselves and our situation. "Ye shall know them by their fruits."

TEACHER OLFANA This is Olfana who speaks now. I wish to discuss the topic of "courage." Courage combines with your willingness to act. A courageous thought, in and of itself, is indeed commendable. But, courage seeks an outlet of expression. Courage's best evidence is shown in courageous actions. A courageous heart seeks a cause in which to express itself. A courageous mind seeks pure, good and true ideas to connect with, and then project to the world. Courage is a strong part of your willingness "to be," to express yourself, to show the best of the strengths of your soul. In this way, I would indeed encourage you to take your thoughts of courage and ask God's Counsel for ways in which they can be expressed.

When you encourage another you are offering them words of counsel to fortify their actions, their choices, a desire to see a betterment in their life. And this is what encouragement to another is??that you are taking your courageous sense of them, a courageous understanding of how they can be, and you are attempting to impart this understanding to them, to another who needs this encouragement, who needs this strengthening, who needs this catalyst to then express their own courage and strength. And therefore, I would encourage all of you to become a person who identifies your own courageous thoughts, and seeks outlets for them and indeed seeks to identify this in others. TEACHER TOMAS: It requires courage to stand for something, to espouse your belief, your opinion, to make testimony to others of your life's experiences. This courage, this integrity of the individual, is an aspect of sharing the inner life; it is rambunctious. The nervousness that you might experience during heated discussions stems from your understanding, on an elemental level, that in the face of differing opinions, if you relied on mere base courage, the situation could result in fisticuffs; however, if you have evolved to a philosophic plane which allows for differences, you are afforded the freedom to express yourself courageously.

Even if you have not spoken out, you have experienced the courage of some conviction, some decision, and even accepting your thoughts as your own is an act of courage. When you have committed yourself to the living God, to the living Way, when you have experienced this reality to the point where you have seen it operating, where the Spirit of Truth has reflected to you the reality and the truth of the moment, your courage is reinforced.

As you begin to trust others, to understand each other's strengths, to overlook one another's weaknesses, to love each other in the Spirit such as Jesus loves you, as you bear with each other in your humanness and in your desire to grow and to develop true character, you begin then to stand shoulder to shoulder; you become a courageous block of believers, loyal to truth, loyal to each other, loyal to your ideals, loyal to your God. Jesus lived the perfect life. The Son of God and the son of man, he knew the gamut of human emotions, was tested in all things, and remained true to his trust even to the end. And now he serves as the Master Son of his Local Universe of Nebadon with his consort, the Divine Minister who we delight to call Nebadonia. He is our Master, our Teacher, our Lord, our Great Friend.

JESUS: My children, I have come to you to share a few words, to sense our love together and to offer you my counsel and guidance as your Creator Son. I have asked you to step out now in faith, trusting in my guidance, receiving my strength, absorbing my protection and care. It is not an easy path I ask of you. There are indeed sacrifices to be made at times??moments when you must fight disillusionment, your own sense of fear or rejection, or merely the exhaustion of making this effort in my name. I offer you my peace now. Feel it, my children. Breathe it in as it flows from me.

I am the Savior of this world! I am the great guide back to The Source and Center of All Being. I am your Master now, and I cherish you as my dear beloved beings. I have created you with loving intention and I wish you now to relish this gift of life! Relish, and at the same time, do indeed offer those sacrifices to my cause. Let me see you in your glory and in your sense of commitment to my true desire now to bring Urantia back into the flock, the fold??one of those planets which is a beacon of love and light for the Father. You can do this! Do not doubt the potentials, the gifts I have placed within you. You are stronger than you realize at times. You are to trust yourselves.

Remember me, my children, in those moments when you waver or falter. Remember the sacrifices that I chose to make. Remember the ways in which I extend myself for all those I love that I create. Do this in my name. I appeal to you now toward your understanding of me in your hearts and minds. I appeal to you to help me now in this great cause that I have initiated for this planet. You are my "soldiers." You are my "sheep." You are my "servants." You are my "dear ones." Please take these appellations into your sense of yourself, and act from this. Act out of your love. Act out of your sense of faith and commitment. Act out of your belief in yourself, in me as your Beloved Sovereign, and in the glory that you understand of God! Act out of your sense of righteousness. What is fair? What is good? What is kind? What is gentle?

Take these actions for me, my dear beloved children, and you will be comforting my heart. I need you just as much as you need me. We are together in this! We are bonded. You are of me and I am of you. As you pray, think of this, at times. Place you hands together as I am now holding them. (TR holds her hands up, clasped firmly together.) Become your hand and let me become the other hand, and clasp them together in love, in trust, in strength! And ask of God to understand what part of my mission, my calling, is there for you. The mobilization of spiritual assistance has reached the highest levels to bring the needed assistance in this planetary crisis. While the United States of America has been targeted in this tragedy of unprecedented violence, our planet as a whole has sustained a significant injury. Know, therefor, and be confident that everything is being done that can be done to alleviate the sting of sorrow, to dissipate the natural animal instinctual reaction of hatred and revenge. At the same time, and in a similar fashion to the Lucifer rebellion, we are confident that Michael, as he directs this universe, will be able to take this unspeakable tragedy and turn it into spiritual growth.

You understand, of course, that it is not the will of God to afflict his children. It is not the will of Michael that his sons and daughter on Urantia should live in such misery, strife and hatred toward each other. All of this cannot be attributed to the motivation of Deity--no!

When I was once came to this planet on my own initiative, but with the approval of my fellows, I came because there was a different kind of crisis, a gradual extinguishing of the light of truth. Now that I am Acting Planetary Prince I am once again confronted with a gigantic task, which is to prepare this planet for the coming age of spiritual summertime. Sometimes summer is greeted on its borders with a late season frost which aims to kill the crops, but late season frosts do not stop the coming of the harvest. They require a replanting in order for the summer season to be unaffected. The tragedy of violence that this planet has witnessed has unmasked the face of hatred. It has displayed the futility of violence in terms of truly satisfying the longings of the human heart. Many will now ponder what they have accepted without question or challenge, that it is the will the God to take "an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth". We expect that many will begin to see the true futility of hatred as a motivation for planetary existence. At the same time we recognize that these times call for extraordinary thinking, exceptional statesmanship and Divine guidance.

My friends, do not belittle yourselves so that you fail to hear the significance of our Master's commission to you. He said 2,000 years ago to his followers, "You are the light of the world; a city set upon a hill so that all can see." This is not a time to hide your light under a bushel; and I commend you in your decision this evening to be seen publicly in prayer.

New wine needs to be in new wineskins. The old wine and the old wineskins are not sufficient for these times. Always is there the opportunity for service which your angels work to bring into your environment. Once again,my friends, keep your eyes open. Keep your hearts soft. Don't quarrel with men and women. Don't become preachy in your demeanor, but display your servant-hood in your willingness to listen and plant seeds as you can.

I am aware of the psychological need of a wounded person to identify the perpetrator of their misery, so they can direct their fury in retaliation. This is a natural response of the animal aspect of human nature, but be aware that, in addition to the animal nature, these kinds of disasters also break the frameworks of thinking so that people act from their spiritual natures in acts of heroism, altruism, and even transcend their prejudices of race, religion and ethnicity. It's a two-edged sword, this tragedy. It reveals the bankruptcy of hatred, and at the same time it reveals the graciousness of brotherhood.

When Jesus said to "pray for your enemies" he was not an idealist, but he was a realist, for the idea of "enemy" is a misunderstanding, acted out-yes, but its root is a misunderstanding. In the intent of Jesus, to pray for one's enemies is to wish them the best that they could experience, and the best that they could experience is identical with the best that any could experience as well. Then to pray for one's enemies is also to pray for one's friends, you see, for the goal is spiritual growth for all, enemy and friends alike. When you pray for your enemies, pray for the time when "enemies" will be a relic of the barbaric past, when a true understanding of our common sonship/daughtership and our resultant brotherhood/sisterhood will be as real on this planet as it is in the universe at large.

It is important that people grieve and admit their sorrow, their frustration, their confusion, for if they are not recognized, these feelings fester and keep one in a depressed and angry mode. But what keeps grief from ending is the unwillingness to forgive... even the most atrocious atrocities.

One key to understanding forgiveness is to recognize that all iniquity is based upon the choice of sinful acts, which is based upon the knowledge of error, and error is universal in the evolving universes. We all are imperfect and therefor subject to error. Of course it is not a necessity to embrace error consciously and therefor move over into the realm of sin and iniquity. Nevertheless most people do on occasion consciously choose to do the wrong thing, if for however short the interval of time. Sometimes that choice becomes self-perpetuating, and occasional sin becomes iniquity. Since we are all capable, and perhaps guilty at times, of sin, we have no business closing off forgiveness to others. The forgiveness of the Diving Creators is complete, and is only ineffective when it is refused. It is not good enough to say "God may forgive, but I never will." It is understandable that a person could say that, but is not appropriate. I do not dwell on this, my friends, because I am concerned with a deficit in your minds or hearts; but these words need to be spoken at this time, because only forgiveness will break the anger/revenge cycle.

All of this that I speak tonight is intended for you as individuals. My words are not to be understood as dictating statehood decisions in your democracy. It is understood that your leaders represent both their constituents and their own hearts. Therefor continue to pray that your leaders will respond with more than the motive of retaliation, necessary as that may be, but that they will respond with the wisdom which recognizes the unity of all of God's earthly, mortal children.

Our corps of helpers is working with leaders of churches, individual pastors, priests, rabbis, clergy of the Moslem religion, yes of all faiths that reside on this planet. We are applying spiritual pressure to church hierarchies. We are using every opportunity that we can, at this time of heightened awareness on the part of so many people, to get our foot in the door with Michael's gospel of sonship. Continue to do your part in this momentous task, my friends.

Finally I would say to you, as a city set upon a hill, as a lamp on a stand where it will bring the most light to the room, you have unparalleled opportunity to spread your light effectively in your environment. We will be with you, and support you in all that you undertake. This is our promise. Be of good cheer. Good evening.

TEACHER DANIEL: I am Daniel. Friends, I desire that tonight we abandon our normal format of discussion, and ponder the words of our Prince as he has spoken to us. Please stand now and we will conclude our togetherness. I will offer prayer.

Dear Michael, you have lived on this planet and endured its evil. It crucified you, and yet you are still triumphant! It did not crush your spirit. It did not break your faith. It merely eliminated your physical existence. In like manner, many have lost their physical existence in this tragedy, but they are safe on the shores of Mansonia. I pray that the greater evil, the breaking of spirit, the loss of hope, the build up of anger and hatred, these spirit poisons that are far more serious, may be stemmed, may be put out; that the tide may be stopped, and that as people pray through out the world, their hearts will be touched by their own indwelling God-fragment so that what appears to be an unspeakable tragedy will be a step forward in the spiritual evolution of this planet.

Thank you, Michael, for my assignment to this group. I love these, my brothers and sisters, and I put my arms around them, and give them a hug this evening. Even so, sustain them in these hard times. Until we meet again may joy, deep down within, keep them in your love. Amen.

And TEACHER ABRAHAM, September 17, 2001, tells us via the TeaM from Woods Cross, Utah,

I am ABRAHAM. Greetings. How am I to teach with such wisdom in the room. Your shared feelings and comments are creating healing. I know this week's tragedies welled up within us each a great many thoughts and feelings. Are we all realizing the gratitude we should have for the simple understanding we have learned? Many in the world are under such misconception about our Divine Caretakers. Many believe God is wrathful and angry, and He will punish His erring children swiftly and severely. I am with the highest gratitude to be among you who know that concept is so wrong. You know that Father is a true Parent, one with supreme love and wisdom. In all His ways He is guiding us towards Him, not pushing us away hen we are erring.

We are in overwhelming gratitude to be aware of the Correcting Time, and to know that come what may, the value will overshadow the negative. We are with hope and trust. We are with faith and tolerance. We are with growing understanding, instead of stagnating traditional beliefs. This past week's tragic events show the power of the animal-self, the evil that resides in ego. I have said so many times, 'your joy is my joy. Your sorrow is my sorrow.' This planet will soon discover how true that really is and how we are really one.
I have known hatred. I have practiced it. I have been dominated by it. I have lived my life from a place of hate. I cannot express the difference that I experienced when I began to know the living God--not the God of my ancestors, but the God within. I do understand, unfortunately, these terrorist's position, and for that I am regretful. I do understand how power and wealth can drive a person to smother other people so that they can rise above.

Power was most sought after by the sons of self-love. To belittle others to make themselves more was their scheme to attaining their hearts desire. People's joy was not their joy. In fact it was a threat to them. They could not share in the oneness. Your sorrow was their joy because that made you weak, and they gained power from that. This is also true for those terrorists who seek to build self with the pain of others. They are truly misguided. There is no unity for them. There is no gratitude of real spiritual joy. They believe they are serving a spiritual cause, but really deep down they know very well they are an empty shell.

This tragedy is perhaps likened to those apostles who sought those higher seats at the table with the Master. This was not unity. This was self-serving. This was not humility. This was self-exaltation. Who was the one who knelt on the ground to wash His brethren's feet? Who was the server of all? Who in the world would run to attain the highest seat, and who would be first to volunteer to wash his fellows feet?

This is really a small event in your history, unfortunately. This is why we have entered into this Correcting Time. This is why we have been here week

after week, year after year. Your hour has come. This is where you will put into action all that you have learned, and you will do it because you love God; you love your brothers and sisters. You count yourself as part of the whole--not higher or lower than anyone else, side-by-side in unity, in oneness.

Grieve now, my friends. Be angry. Share your thoughts and feelings. Go toward healing, not towards hate. Remember all are called, but few will answer. The world's people will need a spiritually sound, practical voice in the chaos of beliefs in the second coming or rapture. Be open to be spirit-led. You must know by now Father will be there with those words you need to impart to your fellows to sustain them in the days ahead.

Forget not to take time everyday to be with Father to regenerate energy, faith and strength. Forget not to allow Father to tend to you. My friends, this is the realness. This is what we have been working toward. Mystical thinking cannot save us now. Your sensible, spiritually guided voice will be a light in the darkness. I thank you each for this unity, this Brotherhood, this Kingdom Family. Go in love and confidence that our Mission moves forward. Until next time, shalom.
