After the Frost

This moody blue and tan shadowed sheep shed and field is an interpretation of the back lot of my little house in the Valley in late November 1988. After the first frost, before the winds blew the leaves from the trees, there was a moment of stillness during which the Land of Enchantment revealed its haunting beauty in the long shadows of late afternoon.
