CURRENT WORKS
IN THE GALLERY
Jesse
Lindsay is a traveling freelance artist and art teacher,
currently living in a shared artist collective, near the Oregon
coast.
"My personal work ranges from drawing, painting, music,
sculpting, short films, photography and anything else I can get
my hands on, the only thing that limits me are free time and
resources. Many of my images and concepts are a mixture of
psychological elements, aspects of my personality, Ideas,
explorations, memories and an illustrated dream diary. All most
all of my personal work is rooted in my dreams; I have been
referring to it as a type of "Alchemical Surrealism".
My
work in the public sphere currently ranges from illustrations,
theatrical/film design, tattoos, graphic design, DVD/album and
promotional art, as well as many commissioned "personal"
projects, for people and groups around the world.
I am fascinated with the laws and limitations of our reality,
its nature and how we interact with in it.
I have become obsessive with concepts of human psychology,
spirituality, consciousness, ritual social behavior and the
occult. I collect antique medical paraphernalia, movies, ancient
relics and art work, and anything strange, when I'm not studying
or working on something, I spend my time traveling, learning or
attempting to sleep."
"For
Alfredo Rodriguez, painting was as much a part of his childhood
development as learning to walk and speak. Some of his earliest
memories are of illustrating classroom assignments and painting
portraits of family members with one of his earliest gifts, a
set of watercolors from his mother at the age of six. Born and
raised in Mexico in a family of nine children, Alfredo used his

living in California and winning top awards from several of the
most prestigious organizations. Rodriguez' work is also
including in the books, "Western Painting Today" by Royal B.
Hassick and "Contemporary Western Artist" by Peggy and Harold
Samuels. Harold also has been featured in magazines such as "Art
of the West", "Informart", "Western Horseman", and
"International Fine Art Collector".
His works have also been used to illustrate Bobby Kalman's
textbooks: "Nations of the Plains", "Nations of the Southwest",
"Native Homes", "Life in a Plains Camp", and "The Life of the
Navajo".
Alfredo has exhibited at several important invitational art
shows around the country, including the "Masters of the American
West" at the Autry Museum in Los Angeles, California. Alfredo
also displays his work at the Heritage Gallery in Scottsdale,
Arizona and the West Lives On Gallery in Jackson, Wyoming.
The Favell Museum of Western Art in Klamath Falls, Oregon
honored Alfredo giving him the "1991 Artist of the Year" award,
and his work is in the museum's permanent collection. The Leanin'
Tree Museum in Boulder, Colorado and the Booth Museum in Georgia
have several of Alfredo's paintings in their collection as well.
Rodriguez'
works are also in the private collections of Mr. and Mrs. Gene
Autry, Miss Connie Stevens, Mrs. Pilar Wayne, and Mr. and Mrs.
Bob Eubanks.
A professional artist since 1968, Alfredo Rodriguez is enjoying
international response by private and corporate art collectors,
as well as wide critical acclaim. He is international recognized
for his outstanding paintings of the American West. His rich and
vivid images of mountains, deserts, and Indian villages are
admired wherever they are displayed, but it is his portrayal of
the inhabitants of the land that provides the focal point of his
work. As he paints he captures the dignity of the human spirit
elevated by the majestic beauty of their surroundings. He has
come along way from such a humble beginning, yet the critics
believe that his masterful treatment of the American West is
largely responsible for his success and demonstrates even
greater potential for the future." - Alfredo's Bio from his

Artist Orna Ben-Shoshan
conceives the images she paints through channeling. All of her
paintings are completed in her mind before she transfers them
onto the canvas.
Her metaphysical work infuses deep spiritual experience with
subtle humor.
Orna Ben-Shoshan has been an auto dedact artist for the past 30
years. Her artwork was exhibited in numerous locations in the
USA, Europe and Israel. Her Major motivation as a visual artist
is to share her visions with others to expand their
consciousness and inspire new ways of thinking.
Orna’s life-long interest in metaphysics and mysticism has led
her to study the Kabalah and alternative philosophies. She
shares her wide and diverse knowledge in articles and short
essays that were published in magazines worldwide alongside her
paintings.
Orna is the co-creator of the new and innovative "King Solomon
Cards", which are based on her artwork and combine her

The Art of Annett Bank
My
work is based around the philosophy of art as spiritual practice
and I am interested in leaning about and representing the true
nature of our reality. Currently I am studying ancient
esotericism and mysticism and feel most drawn to the concept of
being ‘light & fluid’. It assumes no boundaries of our
consciousness, and no limitation to the human form and mind. In
other words one is not confined to ones body alone, instead is
connected to all that is. This particularly fascinated me,
especially seen in the context of our modern day existence.
Focused on the contrasting elements of silence and dynamic, my
main aim is thus to capture our human experience by displaying
painterly compositions that are characterized by a daring color
spectrum, deft boldness, exuberant energy, graceful elegance,
and most of all - enormous movement. My ideas particularly come
from the esoteric concept of dynamic meditation which is
executed when one is in a state of heightened awareness and
conscious presence. Here, one is to feel a deep stillness, peace
and joy, but simultaneously realizes sensations of intense
aliveness, power and radiance.
Influenced
by many
20th century Art movements like Abstract - as well as
German Expressionism,
Post Impressionism,
Fauvism and Action Painting - l combined components of
distinct
modern art styles with contemporary spiritual and
visionary art and arrived at a fresh, experimental
approach which turned out to be uniquely vibrant and
free-flowing. Some of the qualities I have merged in developing
my artistic
language are for example the color application of Henri
Mattise, the
action painting characteristics of
Jackson Pollock, the sensuality of
Egon Schiele, the poetry of
Bill Viola and the beautiful intricacy of Alex Grey,
whose visual meditations on the nature of consciousness
interweave biological anatomy with psychic/spiritual energy.
This
process began whilst still studying for my BA (Hons) at
Northbrook College Sussex, UK where I created ambiguous
body forms engaged in enigmatic actions. They in turn where
imbued with aphorisms - bringing about an intriguing, lyrical
interplay. By working very intuitively, I attempted to fuse
these principles and point to the importance of our
inner body
awareness. Seen from that perspective, my work sets out
to act as a reminder of our true perfection; where the inner
reflects the outer and conclusively carries a certain meditative
connotation as it suggests a return to harmony, balance and
stability within our experience.

FEATURED ARTIST: WILLIAM HAYS
"My paintings are the product of a
co-creative effort to communicate my love of our corner of the
divine creation. Since childhood my artistic interests have
centered around the natural world. The profound beauty of
landscape is a never ending source of peace. When I'm "in the
groove" while painting it is form of prayer and communion for
me. My more cosmic paintings have grown out of my love of and
gratitude for the Father's ability to reach down and touch
each of us."

MINDY SOMMERS "Our new deck of cards, The Dreaming in Color
Luman Deck---not tarot, and not oracle---is gaining
rapid popularity worldwide and not just because the
unusual dreamscape artwork grabs attention. It relies on
vibrant color and imagery to enhance intuition instead
of bogging the user down with dark imagery and
mysterious symbolism, making it available for use by
everyone....not just tarot readers and spiritualists."
