FUTURE GROWTH DIRECTIONS will depend on those volunteers who step
forward to propose and direct projects. Light and Life is conceived as a spiritual umbrella
that is offered for your inspired creations of words and pictures. If you would like to
join the team and develop some aspect of the site, please email your overview proposal to
jamescleveland@tds.net. Our publishing
team is all-volunteer; they are paid in the currency of planetary connectivity that gives
their inspired expressions to the universe via the internet.
Overall, we are each independent publishers dedicated to
the educational and entertaining exploration of planetary faiths,
religions, and spiritual movements, especially in their
relationships to each other, and to the current evolutionary changes
on the Earth and in its societies. Opinions of writers are not
necessarily those of the publisher.
The Light and Life publications officially believe in the Urantia Papers as a
great foundation of spiritual truth, but not the only source. We believe that spiritual
growth can be most readily accessed through a close personal relationship with God in
daily Stillness. With this foundation, the Universal Father will provide growth in many
ways, through the spiritualizing of our daily learning and growing experiences and the
enhancement of Truth, Beauty and Goodness in our lives.
We believe in the respect and tolerance principles of the Temple of Urmia as
described in the Urantia Papers, and appreciate the technique of its teachers: “These
teachers of the various religions made a great effort to show how similar their religions
were in regard to the fundamental things of this life and the next.” - the Urantia
Papers.
Light and Life will build an historic archive and library of publications that
chronicle the planet’s Spiritual Awakenings.
